Anle Pagoda, commonly known as Tianbao Pagoda and Female Pagoda, is located on the top of Anle Mountain (commonly known as Pagoda Mountain) in the southeast of Yuhang Street, Yuhang District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China. It is now in Tashan Park. It was first built in the Wuyue period of the Five Dynasties. It is said that a Wuyue prince built a nunnery here. Recuperate and recover, so it is named Anle. Because it is located in the southeast of the original Yuhang County (Xun position), it is also regarded as the Wenfeng of the county. The original pagoda has five floors, but it was added to seven floors in the Ming Dynasty. It faces the Shugong Pagoda built in the Wanli period across the Nantiao River, forming a “twin towers” landscape.
